Senior Project Manager, Charlie Christenson, is speaking today at the K-12 Schools Collaborative meeting at the SDG&E Energy Innovation Center on:
“Energy Modeling for Schools: How to Make Optimized and Informed Energy Decisions.”
Attendees will include San Diego school district Facilities Managers, O&M Managers, Energy Managers, and Chief Business Officers. He will focus on the value of calibrated energy modeling and how it can help stakeholders meet California’s 2030 Net Zero targets. He will present case studies on SDUSD’s Zero Net Energy retrofit at Vista Grande Elementary School and Ocean Discovery Institute’s Living Lab. Charlie provided the direction for both of these schools the better understand their energy balance and find a plan to meet net zero goals in a cost-effective way.
